Ten Qirat Courses at World Online Campus

At World Online Campus, we offer Ten Qirat courses, taught by professional Quran scholars who have a deep understanding of each specific recitation style. The word “Qirat” means “reading” or “reciting the Quran.” Currently, we offer ten officially recognized Qirat modules, each with its own unique set of rules and recitation techniques.

Each Qirat style has an established authentication chain of Rawi (narrators), and people from all over the world choose their preferred Qirat style based on their cultural or regional background. Although these styles have minor differences, the meaning of the context remains consistent throughout.

The evolution of the Ten Qirat styles is rooted in the diverse schools of thought and dialects of different tribes during the time of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). The Prophet himself approved various Qirat styles, making them an essential part of Quranic recitation.
